The following are updates from the Roots Centre in Juba. -None of the women from the Centre were injured during the last 8 weeks of the crisis.
-The Centre is open during non-curfew hours with a number of the women able to come to the Centre.
-A plan is being developed to have some of the women pick up materials and work at home, since transportation is currently difficult.
-Ruth Lugor is back from Nairobi and operating the Centre. The shops at the Centre and the airport are open.
-The women are working on jewelry that is needed for their shops and for the US shows to include the International Folk Art Market in Santa Fe in July.
