Success story of Betty Opani in her words

Betty is Pojulu by tribe, Married.  20 years of age.

Betty started with ROOTS Project in 2014. Prior to that, she was a stay home wife. She thanks her husband for connecting her with the ROOTS women; whom she considers as mothers, sisters and counselors.

Betty said she is very happy now that she can contribute money in the house, buy things for herself and assist her mother. While at the Centre, she said she tried hard to engage in all activities to gain skills. Ranging from bead work, attend classes, tailoring training and babysitting. She said she had connected very well in these areas and very thankful to the ROOTS Project for the great opportunities.
